PHCY 830 - Pharmacotherapy of Renal Disorders 2 Credits
This course provides a thorough analysis of the pharmacotherapy of the renal system including common disease states and the therapies used to treat them. Topics covered in this course include: acute and chronic renal failure and the associated complications, electrolyte imbalances, acid/base disorders, renal replacement therapies and renal transplant. Required course. Prerequisite(s): Pharmacy courses are open only to Pharmacy students.
