PHCY 835 - Pharmacotherapy of GI & Liver Disorders 3 Credits This course provides a thorough analysis of the pharmacotherapy of gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders including common disease states and the therapies used to treat these conditions. The course covers nutritional deficiency anemias, cirrhosis, viral hepatitis, pancreatitis, constipation, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, drug-induced liver disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, and celiac disease. Required course. Prerequisite(s): Pharmacy courses are open only to Pharmacy students.
