SPEC 383 - Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports

3 Credits
Behavior and classroom management with an emphasis on research-based strategies to support positive academic and social behaviors. Addresses assessment procedures, including functional behavioral analysis. Field study required.
Prerequisite(s): SPEC 217 - Teaching Students with Mild Disabilities , SPEC 218 - Teaching Students with Significant Disabilities  and SPEC 265 - The Elements of Teaching
