SOCW 375 - Social Research

3 Credits
Use research to build knowledge, influence policy, and evaluate practice by considering qualitative and quantitative research methods; applications of new technologies; issues in professional ethics and human rights; and standards for cultural competence in research.  (Formerly co-listed with SOCL 375) (WR)
Prerequisite(s): SOCL 101 - Introduction to Sociology and MATH 110 - Elementary Statistics or PSYC 253 - Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences  or permission of instructor
