NURS 504 - Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nursing Across the Lifespan

This hybrid course examines the psychiatric care of the child and adolescent population, adult and geriatric populations. You will analyze current and emerging identified mental health disorders and conditions commonly found in these populations. The course will incorporate knowledge, EPB practice approaches and multiple psychotherapies from healthcare disciplines in order to prepare the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to advocate for, educate and care for these populations as an independent practitioner.
