HDFS 499 - Coordination Seminar: Children & Families In Contemporary Society 3 Credits A culminating experience for seniors, integrates developmental knowledge with current issues in the lives of children and families today. Students complete action research projects based upon data collected at their internship sites. Students also visit the state legislature and complete small group advocacy projects addressing an issues of importance to children, youth and families at the state, federal or global level. Spring semester. Other: Limited to Child and Family Studies majors.
