PSYC 190 - Introduction to Psychological Research 3 Credits This Honors course takes an experiential and research-based approach to the study of core psychological areas such as the biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, emotion, psychopathology and social psychology. Using primary sources such as seminal research articles and texts by major psychological theorists, students learn to analyze the strengths and challenges of psychological research. Students will conduct, analyze, present and evaluate small research studies as their culminating project. This course or PSYC 100 - Introductory Psychology is a prerequisite for all other Psychology courses. (LAS) (Core:Social Science)
