Multiple forms of digital media will be examined and constructed as participants will experience a variety of ways that technology can be used to support and enhance learning in the 21st century. This technology course will focus on how the 21st century learner needs to communicate, collaborate, think critically and creatively to be a productive citizen in today’s networked society. Participants will explore multiple social media platforms, blog weekly, create practical applications in disciplines (i.e. lesson plans for teaching candidates; scientific inquiry for biology majors, etc.) using a variety of Web 2.0 applications.
