SPEC 554 - Research-Based Math Interventions 3 Credits This course focuses on intervention practices to meet the individual needs of students. Task analysis and error analysis followed by evidence-based practices are used to design mathematics interventions and monitor progress of students who show difficulty meeting grade level expectations. Curriculum based measures are used to evaluate growth, identify non-responders and determine areas of need in mathematics. Supervised practica included.
