HIST 325 - Epidemics in World History

3 Credits
Examination of the impacts of infectious diseases in world history as seen in religion and culture, political, social, economic and health structures and policies, European empire building, and global interdependencies and inequalities. Historical epidemics examined might include plague, smallpox, syphilis, cholera, tuberculosis, yellow fever, malaria and AIDS.
