COMP 340 - Introduction to Cloud Computing 3 Credits As one of the hottest topic among computer science professionals, cloud computing has changed the paradigm of IT organizations. This course will be offered in a combination of lectures and hands-on experiences. It introduces students to the basic ideas on cloud computing, exposes students to the various technology and security challenges in cloud computing. Using one popular Cloud Computing environment as an example, students will experience the power and applications of cloud computing. Throughout this course, students will gain experience with the Linux operating system. Prerequisite(s): COMP 220 - Data Structures Other: This is an elective course for the Computer and Data Science program
