BIOL 146 - Earth Science

This course will cover basic geologic concepts including but not limited to rock formation, CT geologic history, plate tectonics, volcanic formation, coastal erosion, landscape formation, and glaciation and the impact of geologic changes on human populations. The course counts as one of the physical science courses required for the B.S. in Biology or a science core for any major. Lecture online Two hours laboratory on campus. (LAS) (SI) (Core: Science)
