PUBH 535 - Foundations of Maternal Child Health 3 Credits The purpose of the course is to provide a public health perspective of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and to introduce selected MCH-related issues that affect the health of families, women, children and adolescents. Students are challenged to think critically about major MCH issues (e.g., population-based, health disparities, levels of preventions). The Life Course Perspective guides the course structure and delivery of MCH determinants of health and health services.
