IABS 501 - Foundations of Behavior Analysis 3 Credits This course provides historical and current context regarding the terminology, methods, and applications of Applied Behavior Analysis. Emphasis will be on having students demonstrate mastery of terms used and generate examples of concepts across various settings.
Course Objectives:
1. Define the Characteristic of science and dimensions of applied behavior analysis
2. Discuss the history and philosophical underpinnings of applied behavior analysis as a profession.
3. Define key terms in applied behavior analysis
4. Demonstrate an ability to define behavioral concepts and principles.
