EDUC 550 - Second Language Composition 3 Credits This course concentrates on the research and proven practices of teaching and supporting writing of English Learners. Students will explore theory and practice of L2 writing, while experiencing the writing process as a learner. Using multiple genres, participants will examine English learners’ written output, and will investigate research based instructional strategies to address the needs of L2 learners at each level. Participants will explore formative and summative assessment practices in second language composition. Other: Course is open to district partnership candidates only
