EDUC 515 - Educational Research 3 Credits This course uses readings, cases from practice, community practice forums, group activities, lectures-discussions, individual projects and an examination of educational research to introduce educational research with the primary focus on K-12 education. Students will examine both qualitative and quantitative research and work together as a community of practice. Skills developed include locating, designing, evaluating, interpreting and synthesizing research relevant to education. The course requires an extensive literature review and research proposal of an educational topic.
