PHCY 828 - Pharmacotherapy of Infectious Diseases, Part I 2 Credits This course provides a thorough analysis of infectious diseases topics, including the pathophysiology of common infectious diseases and the therapies used to treat them. Covers infections of the gastrointestinal system, genito-urinary tract, respiratory tract, and skin and soft tissue. Also includes discussions of relevant clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial stewardship. Required course.
