BIOL 455 - Environmental Science Capstone 4 Credits The Environmental Science Capstone is a unique field-based course designed to immerse students into a community environmental science project. Students will be sorted into groups and will be assigned to a local environmental project. Projects will vary depending upon the proposals submitted by community organizations, non-profit organizations, or town governments. The focus of the class meetings will vary depending upon the project(s) selected that semester. At the completion of the course, students will present their project to the community stakeholder group and to the rest of the capstone class.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 237 - Principles of Environmental Science and BIOL 262 - Aquatic Science and BIOL 263 - Earth Science and BIOL 303 - Environmental Health
