CHEM 170 - Introduction to General, Organic, and Biochemistry I
4 Credits
Introduction to the basic principles of Chemistry with focus on structure, properties and reactions of representative inorganic and organic compounds. Special emphasis on applications to health-related fields. Not intended for majors in biology, chemistry, or students planning to apply to professional school in medical sciences (premedical, predental, etc.) Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory per week. Laboratory fee required. (LAS) (Core:Science)
