FIAR 231 - Printmaking

Introduction and development of basic skills in drypoint etching, woodcut, silk screen printing and other traditional and experimental printmaking processes. Brief survey of printmaking from the 15th century to the present. Use of University collection of original prints. One hour lecture, four hours laboratory per week. Laboratory fee.
