CRMJ 310 - Ethical Decision Making in Criminal Justice


3 Credits
This course examines the ethical dilemmas ever present in the criminal justice system and the development of proper decision making to address them. The course will explore the basic philosophical principles, systems, and theories that are the foundation to ethical decision making. Real-life ethical dilemmas confronting law enforcement, the courts, and corrections, are analyzed and resolved. In addition, broader policy and legal issues will be discussed from an ethics perspective. (CORE: Values/Ethics, Social Science)
