INTD 301 - Mercy Integrative Seminar 3 Credits This course, intended for students who have attained status as juniors, serves as the capstone course for the Core curriculum. It should not be taken by first-year students and sophomores. INTD 301 will challenge students to engage one or more of the “Critical Concerns” of the Sisters of Mercy (earth, immigration, nonviolence, racism, and women) in greater depth through an interdisciplinary research paper that integrates their Core course learning and their major. This course emphasizes upper-level writing and higher-order critical thinking. Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior standing or permission of the General Education Director.
