PHRM 734 - Operational Pharmacy Practice Laboratory

This competency-based laboratory course reinforces the use of the Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process and introduces the necessary skills for dispensing medication in community and hospital settings. Topics covered include interpretation of prescriptions, principles of dispensing, pharmaceutical calculations, Top 300 medications, and verbal communication skills with patients and other healthcare providers.
