POLS 207 - Political Concepts of Modern Popular Music

3 Credits
This course introduces the discipline of Political Science through an examination of its key concepts as exemplified in many ways in modern popular music. Emphasis is on the concepts and ideologies employed by scholars of politics. Also considered are the ways musicians have offered political messages, galvanized public opinion, and energized, or even directed political movements.
