ENGR 200 - Fundamental Engineering Principles 3 Credits This course serves as an introduction to engineering and the methods used in engineering analysis, design and problem solving. Topics include:
Introduction to the engineering profession; graphical representation of data; units, conversions and dimensional analysis; introduction to engineering economics, statistics and decision making. Students will recognize, define, and solve engineering problems related to mechanics, energy, thermodynamics, and electricity. Ethical aspects of engineering, including the global and societal impact of engineering will be introduced. Prerequisite(s): MATH 180 - Calculus II Corequisite(s): PHYS 130 - Introductory Physics I
