ENGR 300 - Digital Circuit Design
4 Credits
An introduction to the design of digital circuits. Students will analyze, design, build, and test digital circuits using integrated circuit components. Topics include: binary numbers, Boolean algebra, digital logic gates, combinational logic circuits, sequential logic circuits, flipflops, registers, counters, memory and programmable logic devices, design at the register transfer level, and an introduction to computer architecture.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 180 - Calculus II and PHYS 140 - Introductory Physics II
