COUN 470 - Introduction to Counseling I 3 Credits This is the first of two courses that have been designed to assist students with an understanding of their emerging counselor professional identity as it relates to professional dispositions, counseling skills and techniques, and working productively in groups. It is part of the Accelerated Direct Entry BA in Psychology to MA in Counseling program and is intended to be taken in the fourth year along with graduate counseling courses.
