EXSC 332 - Applied Exercise Psychology 3 Credits Applied Exercise Psychology builds on the foundational theoretical concepts presented in PSYC 233 - Sports Psychology and bridges the gap between research and practice. This course will highlight diverse topics that merge health psychology and exercise psychology in order to demonstrate the importance of physical activity in overall health and well-being. Students will apply knowledge learned through case studies and anecdotes designed to promote critical thinking to real-world situations. Cross-listed with PSYC 332. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 233 - Sports Psychology Other: This course is required for the completion of the Sports Psychology concentration in either Exercise Science or Psychology. It may also be used as an elective.
