SPEC 554 - Research Based Math Interventions 3 Credits This course focuses on intervention practices to meet the individual needs of students. Task analysis and error analysis followed by evidence-based practices are used to design mathematics interventions and monitor progress of students who show difficulty meeting grade level expectations. Curriculum Based Measures (CBM) are used to evaluate growth, identify non-responders and determine areas of need in mathematics. Field study application required.
