Discussion of trends in world population, food, water, and energy and how these issues affect the environment. Emphasis on the basic scientific principles behind these issues and upon possible solutions. Three hours lecture, three hours related fieldtrips per week. Laboratory fee: $50.00. (LAS) (SI)
