HDFS 420 - Managing in a Non-Profit Organization 3 Credits This course examines the diverse field of non-profit management with attention to historical contexts, interagency collaboration, governance and leadership. Course content emphasizes mission-driven cultures, strategic planning, human resource development, supportive supervision, and basic financial management strategies. Students will practice non-profit management in individual and group projects and assignments that reference their internship experiences.
