Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of human behavior.  Practitioners of ABA improve socially important behavior through the application of interventions based upon the principles of learning. These principles have been developed and evaluated through scientific experiments, and have been shown to apply across species, populations, and circumstances. By taking courses in ABA, students will learn to apply the scientific principles of learning and behavior to make positive changes in their own life, and the lives of others. The ABA undergraduate courses sequence includes four courses, two of which can be taken as stand-alone courses.

Taking all four courses in the sequence prepares students for a specialized credential for professionals in mental health, education, and human services. The course sequence has been approved by the BACB® to meet the coursework requirements needed to sit for the BCaBA® examination.
