 Nutrition, B.S. - Nutrition and Wellness |

The USJ Nutrition and Public Health Department offers two tracks. One prepares a student for a dietetic internship (didactic) and this second one will prepare a student to work in the arena of wellness and community as a nutrition educator. These professionals work with a variety of populations such as pregnant women and their children in a Women Infants and Children nutrition program, Head Start, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and food programs including school nutrition programs. The emphasis is on preventative nutrition, education and wellness. |
