Students who are admitted to the 4+2 Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (M.S.P.O) program enter the University as first-year students and successful candidates earn a bachelor’s degree in Biology and master of science in Prosthetics and Orthotics degree in a total of six years.
The first four years of the program are devoted to undergraduate coursework. The student will take courses in the major, prerequisite coursework for the M.S.P.O. program, and general education courses and will earn a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Upon completion of their B.S. in Biology, students will apply to the University of Hartford, where there is one admissions vacancy in the master’s program for a qualified USJ student.
