3+2 Biology B.S. and Bioengineering B.S.

Successful students in this program earn two Bachelor of Science degrees, one at the University of Saint Joseph and the other at Fairfield University at the end of five years.

Prerequisite courses can be taken at USJ or at schools in the Hartford Consortium.

 

Requirements


  • All requirements of the Biology, B.S.  with a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 in the Biology program
  • Complete 71 credits of course prerequisites for the Bioengineering program at Fairfield University with a grade of C or better
  • Students must be recommended by the USJ provost or academic dean
  • Apply to the Fairfield program by May 1 of the final semester of the USJ Biology program
