Accounting Undergraduate Certificate

Program Curriculum (12 credits)

• ACCT 201 - Principles of Accounting I 3 Credits
• ACCT 205 - Managerial Accounting 3 Credits
• Any two other ACCT courses, provided pre-requisites have been met

 

The following restrictions apply:

• Accounting majors are not allowed to earn the Accounting Certificate
• Any course already taken for use in satisfying a USJ major will not be counted towards the Accounting Certificate
• In the event that a course has already been taken in satisfying a USJ major, the substitution of another ACCT course with Department Chair approval will be accepted toward the Accounting Certificate
• The following MGMT courses may be considered for application toward the Accounting Certificate: MGMT 305 - Financial Management  and MGMT 306 - Investment Management  
• ACCT 485 - Internship   is specifically excluded from application toward the Accounting Certificate
