This is a pathway using courses and curricula in the existing and approved Chemistry B.S. program for students to earn their degree in 3.5 years. This shortened timeframe will save time to degree, costs, and will encourage focus on the next steps whether it is to attend a graduate program, medical program, or move into the workforce.
To be successful in this program students that attempt this accelerated timeframe should have a strong high school GPA and high SAT scored in both Math and English (suggested score of 590 on each section (CR/M). Those students that matriculate with AP courses will also find the workload less rigorous and taking some courses in the summer will allow for more flexibility to explore other courses that may be of interest.
All requirements of the Chemistry B.S. must be met along with all other university degree requirements.
