Program Outcomes
- Demonstrate knowledge of the healthcare system, including finances, data management, legal issues, regulatory and compliance issues, strategic planning and organizational effectiveness
- Demonstrate competencies in organizational leadership, including interpersonal communication
- Demonstrate knowledge of health information technology and data management within healthcare systems
- Apply knowledge of public and population health to the management of healthcare systems and to address health disparities
- Demonstrate understanding of healthcare issues, trends, and perspectives related to ethical contexts, diversity, aging, under-served populations, and health disparities
Matriculation requirements
- Admissions application and nonrefundable admission fee
- A sealed official transcript of all undergraduate work, showing a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Two letters recommending the candidate for graduate work at the University of Saint Joseph
- Essay
- An immunization record using the University of Saint Joseph Health Services form
Continuation Requirements
Students are required to maintain a GPA of 2.67 or higher. Grades of D or F may result in a student being placed on probation or dismissal.
