3 Credits This course will focus on the assessment and design of instructional approaches for intervening with challenging behaviors. Course will emphasize best practices for analyzing behavior, developing intervention plans and evaluating the effectiveness of these plans. Students will be able to use the principles of applied behavior analysis to identify target behaviors, collect data in order to establish a baseline and develop individualized and effective interventions. Prerequisite(s):IABS 501 - Foundations of Behavior Analysis and IABS 502 - Behavior Analysis and Program Evaluation
