ECSE 597 - Student Teaching and Student Teaching Seminar: Infant/Toddler 9 Credits Student Teaching required for Early Childhood, Birth to Kindergarten licensure candidates. This 10-week full-time experience is supervised by qualified professionals in early intervention and takes place in a setting serving infants and toddlers with identified special needs. Work includes participation in trans-disciplinary team processes, collaboration with parents, and the implementation of IFSPs. Prerequisite(s): Completion of licensure courses with minimum grade requirement met; successful completion of student teaching application to the Office of Student Teaching and Clinical Experiences by February 1 for summer or fall student teaching, or September 15 for spring student teaching. Corequisite(s): This course must be taken with for Early Childhood Birth-Kindergarten licensure. Other: Seminar attendance is required. No other coursework may be taken during this semester.
