NURS 550 - Health and Community

In this course, students will explore and discuss issues related to community and public health nursing including fundamental principles, ethics, cultural competence and concordance, vulnerable populations, illness, health promotion and program planning. Through online discussions and papers, students will analyze their own practice regarding these concepts and apply the nursing process or program planning process to address a population-based problem.
