PHCY 839 - Pharmacotherapy of Neurologic Disorders

This course provides a thorough analysis of the pharmacotherapy of neurologic disorders including common disease states and the therapies used to treat them. Topics/disease states covered include: traumatic brain injury, headache and migraines, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy and status epliepticus, autism spectrum disorder, multiple sclerosis, and acute and chronic pain.

Prerequisite(s): Pharmacy courses are open only to Pharmacy students.
