SPEC 526 - Educational Assessment 3 Credits This course prepares candidates to administer, score and interpret a range of criterion-referenced, norm-referenced, and curriculum based measurement tools for the purposes of:
- Identifying students with specific learning disabilities
- Generating a series of informed educational recommendations, including goals and related objectives
- Presenting findings and recommendations to parents and professionals
Lecture, discussion, demonstration and practical experiences in test administration, scoring and interpretation practices will be emphasized. Prerequisite(s): , or and Other: Candidates are advised that this course requires a supervised fieldwork component and extensive outside preparation beyond class meeting time.
