PHCY 874 - Pain Management and Palliative Care

This course builds upon pain management and palliative care topics discussed in PHCY 837, 839, and 840, focusing on the management of neuropathic, somatic, and visceral pain. Students continue developing skills as members of the health care team in the preparation of individualized pharmaceutical care plans, especially with respect to pain and palliation. The course includes lectures and debates related to pain and palliative care topics as well as simulated interprofessional team exercises.
