NURS 507 - Advanced Health Assessment 3 Credits In this course, students build a foundational education in advanced health assessment including history and physical examination across the lifespan for diverse patient populations. Topics include therapeutic communication, identification of normal and abnormal findings, and comprehensive and focused assessments. Synchronously with the skills course that runs during the semester, this course prepares students for clinical experiences and practice. Social determinants of health and cultural considerations in the advanced practice role are woven throughout this course. Clinical fees may be associated with this course. Prerequisite(s): NURS 535 - Advanced Pharmacology
