NURS 530 - Advanced Practice in Applied Psychopharmacology 4 Credits In this clinical course, students build upon advanced pharmacology strategies of medication management in the treatment of patients with psychiatric mental health symptoms and conditions. Appropriate medication selection based on diagnosis and pathophysiology is addressed. Social determinants of health and cultural considerations in the advanced practice role are woven throughout this course. Students complete 150 clinical hours in this course. Clinical fees may be associated with this course. Prerequisite(s): NURS 544 - Assessment, Diagnosis, and Management of Mental Health Conditions
