NURS 502 - Advanced Practice in Psychotherapy I 4 Credits In this clinical course, students are introduced to psychodynamic, interpersonal, and group theories and therapies to treat a range of common mental health conditions in advanced practice. Students build on assessment and diagnostic skills in developing comprehensive plans of care for a range of mental health conditions across the lifespan, including psychotherapeutic and pharmacological interventions. Social determinants of health and cultural considerations in the advanced practice role are woven throughout this course. Students complete 150 clinical hours in this course. Clinical fees may be associated with this course. Prerequisite(s): NURS 530 - Advanced Practice in Applied Psychopharmacology Other: Clinical hours will be 180 until summer 2025.
