NURS 508 - Advanced Practice in Pediatric Primary Care 4 Credits In this clinical course, students are introduced to the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions in the pediatric population. Topics include growth and development, health promotion, anticipatory guidance, and professional standards of documentation. Social determinants of health and cultural considerations in the advanced practice role are woven throughout this course. Students complete 150 clinical hours in this course. Clinical fees may be associated with this course. Prerequisite(s): NURS 591 - Advanced Practice in Gender-Related Health
