CHEM 330 - Physical Chemistry II: Quantum Theory

3 Credits
An introduction to quantum theory, including the following topics:

  1. The wave-particle duality of light, the breakdown of classical theory and the emergence of quantum theory
  2. The wave-particle duality of matter and the Schrodinger Equation
  3. The postulates of quantum theory
  4. Applications of quantum theory to chemical systems
