How citizens’ and public officials’ attitudes, values, beliefs, experiences, and cognitive capacities shape political behavior and influence the actions of political institutions. Topics include political socialization, political personality, attitude formation and change — including the effects of media and campaigning — and political decision-making. Cross listed with
